Quote of the Day: Grievances, Economic Realities

"In the real world, a sense of grievance or entitlement, as a result of the mistreatment of your ancestors, is not likely to get you very far with people who are too busy dealing with current economic realities to spend much time thinking about their own ancestors, much less other people's ancestors."

~Thomas Sowell in his column today "Random Events"

Very true. People with very little to do normally have a lot of time to worry about what took place 100 years ago.

In the middle east they have plenty of time to worry about what took place thousands of years ago.
