Superbowl Economics

1. Tickets on StubHub!: $2,000 to $20,000.

2. Hotels: $500 per night, 4 night minimum.

So that's a minimum of $6,000 for two people just for tickets and lodging!

If you buy the $20,000 tickets, then the hotel fees are smaller in percentage. That is the waw to go.

You could get a very good entertainment system setup for $6k. Have a decent-sized party with family and friends, while having something that will last a few years.

True, but then you'd be exploiting those Third World child slaves who built your TV, the Latin American farms who grew the corn in your corn chips, you'd be polluting the air with your electricity use, and you're most likely consuming some kind of beverage not brewed in America.

Conversely, if you spend your money going to the Game, you'd be supporting American athletes, American ushers, American hotels and (depending on your mode of travel) American produced oil.

So, according to your "America first" economic ideas, your choice is harmful to America and you must go to the game.

Or is it time you reject your thoughtless philosophy and bow before my superior reasoning ability?

These prices are outrageous....

We need a program to ensure that these types of tickets go to the deserving fans on an equitable basis......

...not just those who are Willing and able .....

....er...I mean lucky enough to buy them...

or, he could do as i have urged him to (and as i have already done) and buy an all US made entertainment system.

literally every component i have is us made from the projector to the speakers. even the cables and the blu ray.

sure, it might cost 10 times as much, but imagine how much good that does for the US!

strangely, seth seems unwilling to pitch in and do his part.

it's a real puzzler, that.
