Markets in Everything: First Commercial Jetpack
The Martin Jetpack is scheduled to go on sale in 2012, and the current price tag is set at a lofty $100,000. Amazingly, it's actually legal: It will meet the FAA's strict standards for ultralight aircraft flight. By design, the jetsetter along for the ride won't be able to exceed 63 miles per hour, with a flight time limited to 30 minutes."

Hmmm, there's been one for sale for a little while now but it isn't quite like jetpack in the posting...
Look at this YouTube clip of the Water Jet Pack: Get High with Jetlev!
You can purchase one for the low, low price of 99,500 USD, FOB Florida warehouse, freight, duties and taxes extra...
Kinda cool, but not as cool as the HoverBike.
"Kinda cool, but not as cool as the HoverBike"...
Well yeah!!!
Now that's a truly cool idea if it works as advertised...
Good find Che!
The hover-bike is fantastic !!!!!
Hovering in the same place while being strapped to the ground has so many travel capabilities.
I'm much more intrigued by drones... some the size of a cigarette pack owned and operated by not only the military, but law enforcement and private individuals....including weaponized versions.
as usual with newer technologies... the potential is enormous....
