OK, you decide to go to your local pawnshop for gift shopping. Chances are you will be in one of CashAmerica's stores. The company's 1000 stores make it the largest provider of non-recourse loans.
BTW, years afterward, I have had to admit to the kids to buying electronic game players and games at pawnshops, for Christmas gifts.
Crap. This has been one of my holiday shopping go-to 'secrets' for years. So much for that.
