Is it weird that African-Americans responses are not included?
Not really. Blacks only make up about 3.5% of the population in Washington.
Other than the age 50-64 support, the most surprising aspect is how the support of women drops by 8% simply when the question is rephrased from a general question to the prospect of an actual law, going from 3% in support to a 15% margin against. I'm going to guess these are the people who say they're for it in polls and then always vote against it.

Or perhaps these are people who are in favor of legalization, but against government involvement.
As marijuana can easily be grown almost anywhere,. It's hard to see how it could be regulated. I can only imagine that attempts to restrict it would lead to a black market similar to the one that exists now.
The age 50-64 support is no surprise. Remind me, when were they teenagers?
Strange that Republicans, who blabber incessantly about limiting government (except for in the Red State Socialist Empire, where they want more federal subsidies every year) believe government should intrude on whether some guy smokes pot or not.
Personally, I dislike recreational drugs. That's me--but I like to have a glass of wine from time to time. So maybe I am a fraud. I guess I should be grateful my government "allows" me to have a sip of the red evil brew.
