Perry holds two graduate degrees in economics (M.A. and Ph.D.) from George Mason University near Washington, D.C. In addition, he holds an MBA degree in finance from the Curtis L. Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. In addition to a faculty appointment at the University of Michigan-Flint, Perry is also a visiting scholar at The American Enterprise Institute in Washington, D.C.

As I understand it, there is a protest scheduled in DC 5/4 or 5/5 on the decision to eliminate the funds for this program. Also, this was the work of Sen. Durbin from Ill. who like most democrats are in the pocket of the teachers union and the national education association. Neither of which have anything to do with quality education.
This site is to be commended for showing the total hypocrisy on this issue of our current political "leadership".
If you have poor employees, the first question should be why they were hired in the first place. If inept people are doing the hiring, are the same inept people doing the firing?
You can't solve a scrap problem by getting a bigger trash can.
It only has to be big enough to contain the unions and the NEA. After that, the trash problem is solved.
The NEA though is in a strong position since they already have been able to latch on to the taxpayers. I notice now, the UAW, like any good parasitic organization will be pushing for legislative action (read taxpayer donations) on the auto cos. restructuring. Apparently, Don corleone Obama & co. could not scare the secured lenders into taking 20 or 30 cents on the dollar when they can get 70 or 80 cents through bankruptcy proceedings. So, the final bailout for the UAW has to be the taxpayer through congressional action.
Only the cleverest of parasites know when to leave the corpse of the automakers and refill the coffers from the taxpayer.
What? If I remember right, you cannot give people a personality test before you hire them. Let's you hire someone with a personality defect that shows-up weekly and scares the crap out of coworkers, they may have been able to keep it under control for the interview. Or how about the former public school teacher that told my whole college class the only way their school got rid of a bad teacher, is a glowing letter of recommendation. Where I work, they have fired a number of people and they were the right people to let go.
HR only looks at experience and years of education, if you pass that litmus test you make it to the interview committee. I would like to move out of my area, but my previously unknown autoimmune disease has left my college experience fragmented.
I have no sympathy for that mother at the end of the clip when she kept asking, "why? why? why are you doing this Obama when I voted for you". People were duped into believing that this guy was all about change and putting politics aside. Warning signs were everywhere but people foolishly voted for the man BECAUSE of his skin color and NOT on his record. All Democrats want is to consolidate thier power. That is what motivates them. I say apply antitrust laws to the NEA. Competition is the only way to wean out the failing bad schools and teachers.
According to the Democrats, as long as the public schools keep graduating kids that believe in global warming and gay marriage, they are deem their schools a success. Who cares if they can't read, write, do math when all these liberals want is for the government to care for them anyway. As long as they can check the Democrat candidate on a ballet, that's all the reading comprehension they need to have.
