Wal-Mart's Global Reach


Wal-Mart serves more than 49 million iternational customers weekly at 3,146 stores in 13 markets outside the continental U.S. (see chart above), and employs 620,000 international associates. International sales were $90.6 billion for Wal-Mart's latest fiscal year (through 1/31/2008), a 17.5% increase over the previous year.

I just bought a 5 shelf bookcase at WalMart for $27. It doesn't look half bad, either.

I love WalMart.

Your blog seems to be very interesting. Personally I like Walmart. I may find everything I need there. Much about Walmart one can find on www.pissedconsumer.com. Especially consumer reports on the quality of goods and services. The store is wonderful but the customer service is awful. And the problem can not be fixed in any way. No one listens to the voice of the consumers.
