Professor Mark J. Perry's Blog for Economics and Finance
I don't often pass along inspirational stuff, as I do not want to offend or "preach," but this one got to me. We can all use a single image that speaks to us of love, harmony, peace, prosperity and joy. All I ask is that you take a moment to reflect upon it.
Dr. Mark J. Perry is a professor of economics and finance in the School of Management at the Flint campus of the University of Michigan. Perry holds two graduate degrees in economics (M.A. and Ph.D.) from George Mason University near Washington, D.C. In addition, he holds an MBA degree in finance from the Curtis L. Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. In addition to a faculty appointment at the University of Michigan-Flint, Perry is also a visiting scholar at The American Enterprise Institute in Washington, D.C.

Nice to see that there is at least on thing you like about Canada.
We'll have to change that "pot of gold" at the end to a "keg of gold." As long as there are lagers and pilsners there. Maybe a nice hefeweizen too.
Not to rain on your parade, but this rainbow leads only to inefficiency and lack of competition. The Beer Store is a crazy provincial government mandated retail cartel owned by the three major Canadian breweries. Overpaid union workers, barriers to entry and a retail experience stuck in 1950. Stalin could hardly have designed it better. Yours truly, from the People's Republik of Ontario.
