Professor Mark J. Perry's Blog for Economics and Finance
According to a study by the Education Policy Center at Michigan State University:
Dr. Mark J. Perry is a professor of economics and finance in the School of Management at the Flint campus of the University of Michigan. Perry holds two graduate degrees in economics (M.A. and Ph.D.) from George Mason University near Washington, D.C. In addition, he holds an MBA degree in finance from the Curtis L. Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. In addition to a faculty appointment at the University of Michigan-Flint, Perry is also a visiting scholar at The American Enterprise Institute in Washington, D.C.

Unfortunately, even the graduates show little evidence of being educated.
My Sister was a teacher in the Detroit Public School system for over 20 years and according to what I've been told the fault for this shameful satistic is none other the the administration and staff of the Detroit Public Schools.
The community is to blame as much as the people who run the schools for allowing this to be done to their children in the name of education.
Well now! Kind of makes one proud to see all those tax dollars go to waste...
This suggests that we're simply not spending enough money on education.
