But Mark, what if you do that and the bozo you rent to commits a crime? What if you safely rented it out 1,000 times before the guy commits a crime? Bye bye futon!
And hey, just think of how dangerous and dirty this could be - it should be banned.
And hey, in these tough economic times, don't you think it's unpatriotic to not patronize a hotel chain? Don't you see all the jobs this will destroy? You call yourself an economist. Pffff!
We're giving this a try at the end of next week (Rome, Italy). Three nights in our own apartment for $335, all in (most hotels wanted just that for one night).
Highly rated on AirBNB from previous guests, so we feel comfortable. Plus, we get a kitchenette as a bonus.
