Okay: now that you've used it, go find who first published the photo and give him credit.
It has been reported that the epicenter of the D.C. quake was located in a small historic cemetery in Virginia where many of our Founding Fathers are buried...
Apparently the quake was caused when they all rolled over at the same time...
This calls for a massive government expenditure.
I'm in the tri-state area and felt nothing (though, supposedly, it affected our Dear Leader all the way in Maatha's Vineyaahd).
I can't send these to my buddies in NYC because they were scared to death. You know, after 911 when you're on the 37th floor in NYC and the building starts shaking violently, you just RUN with your heart in your throat.
“Obama golfing when earthquake hit. Ball on edge of cup rolled in, beating Judge Smails. Biden danced to ‘I’m All Right’ as credits rolled.”

What next, should we make fun of people preparing for the hurricane?
That picture is funny, but I was in a tall building during an earthquake (in Austin, TX!) and it was scary as hell.
Weird thing was, I'm from Kansas City, living in Austin (tonadoes, yes -earthquakes, wtf?) and the very second that building moved - I KNEW it was an earthquake. Don't know why.
Oddly, the worst 'natural disaster' I've been around was the panic during hurricane Rita, here in Houston, because it was right after Katrina.
For those of you in the east, don't freak out. If you can, try and get away for a few days and do it early.
An amazing, opposite 180 degree take on the same story (http://www.futurepundit.com/archives/008254.html)...I personally agree with Carp Diem & the USGS.
