Intrade Odds for Obamacare Fall From 40% to 15%

In a little more than two weeks, the Intrade odds for the contract "A federal government run health insurance plan to be approved before Dec 31, 2009" have fallen to 15%, down from 30% odds only about a week ago, and down from 45% a little more than two weeks ago (see chart above).

I was not aware of these odd makers but I like their recent reading on the health care bill.

A more interesting contract would be on the passage of universal coverage. And a related contract on a Constitutional challenge should one be passed.

For the contract they do have, a Co-op or a trigger do not count. It has to be an alternative to private insurance.
