Rep. Fleming: Congress Should Lead By Example, Enroll Themselves in Post-Office Style Medicine
Representative John Fleming (R-LA): As a physician, I am amazed at the number of bureaucrats in this House who are quick to claim a government-run health care plan is the reform this country needs. In response to this, I have offered House Resolution 615 that will offer members of Congress an opportunity to put their money where their mouth is, and urge their colleagues who vote for legislation creating a government-run health care plan to lead by example and enroll themselves in the same public plan.

Great stuff - although Barney Frank would love to attend a low cost clinic and hang out in the men's room looking for a good time if you ya know what i mean...
So here's the joke of the day.
A U-S Congressman was seated next to a little girl on the airplane when the Congressman turned to her and said, “Let’s talk. I’ve heard that flights go quicker if you strike up a conversation with your fellow passenger.”
The little girl, who had just opened her book, closed it slowly and said to the congressman, “What would you like to talk about?”
“Oh, I don’t know,” said the congressman. “How about national health care or the banking crisis?” and he smiles.
“OK,” she said. “Those could be interesting and timely topics. But let me ask you a question first. A horse, a cow, and a deer all eat the same stuff - grass. Yet a deer excretes little pellets, while a cow turns out a flat patty, and a horse produces clumps of dried grass. Why do you suppose that is?”
The Congressman, visibly surprised by the little girl’s intelligence, thinks about it and says, “Hmmm, I have no idea.”
To which the little girl replies, “Do you really feel qualified to discuss health care when you don’t know crap?”
And do not exempt union members from Obamacare either. I cannot think of anything that reaks of sewage more then this scam on the American people.
I worked for the government for 34 years. As a retiree, I was able to continue my health insurance into retirement and that costs me about $200 a month. Currently (I live in Montana) I have a choice of about 12 different plans, all offering a different mix of services. Federal employees in Idaho have a choice of 14 plans and D.C. has 16. The mail carriers insurance is the premium plan a federal employee can get and has only been available to other than postal employees for, I believe, about 20 years. I can't afford it. The Congressman is, of course, opting for the gold-plated plan.
Why should they use the public option? They don't even send their kids to public school. We are developing into a two tiered system.
I can't get over the fact that the USA is evolving in to a USSR like society - the power elites and the rest of society.
We know how that ended.
