Markets in Everything: Bartering for Health Care

MSNBC -- No cash for medical bills? Recession revives old-fashioned exchanges for health care. A nationwide trend is developing as more providers offer patients the option of paying for the non-covered costs of medical and dental care without a direct exchange of cash.

Remember kids, the IRS still wants their cut on the value of the exchange.

In about a year or two, I expect the same article will be written, but won't be limited to healthcare.

People may start out of necessity, but now that the government is going after money and income even in Swiss Banks, more transactions are just not going to be in cash.

What is Stephany Celis bartering for since she's not actually doing any productive work due to the fact its state tax dollars going through an expensive middle man to supposedly pay for her pre-natal health care?
