1,This is off topic but was wondering if you were aware of this video: The Story of Stuff which is currently being shown in 7,000 schools across the U.S. to children as young as 9.Some of the more glaring inaccuracies have been highlighted in a 4 part video critique.
You do realize that this CNN story is untrue.She actually was properly diagnosed with a benign tumor and did NOT need immediate emergency treatment.Had her situation decreased more rapidly than expected she would have gotten emergency treatment.Had she been living in America she would probably not have had health insurance at all and if she did she would have not been allowed to get the MRI Canada gave so quickly which showed her cyst.

Dr. Mark J. Perry is a professor of economics and finance in the School of Management at the Flint campus of the University of Michigan.
Perry holds two graduate degrees in economics (M.A. and Ph.D.) from George Mason University near Washington, D.C. In addition, he holds an MBA degree in finance from the Curtis L. Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. In addition to a faculty appointment at the University of Michigan-Flint, Perry is also a visiting scholar at The American Enterprise Institute in Washington, D.C.
