This election seemed like it lasted 2 years, with a new poll every day. To me, this $Billion scramble for power has become obscene, with the media trumpeting their candidate, promises of free stuff, followed by tax increases after the voting stops. Soon we enter the Christmas season, which probably will be more modest for most consumers and I hope people will take time to reflect on what is really important in their lives (for me it is not the material things that have long become associated with the season). We all need a break from the past few months.
