Most of the land is slightly "acidic." Throw a little crushed limestone on it, and you won't be able to believe the amount of food (and, biofuels) it could produce.

I don't understand your point. AFrica is a continent, the others are countries [or blocs]. Put Africa on top of Asia and see the difference.

Amit, you are completely correct.

This is some idiot's idea of 'comparison', taking apples and oranges and comparing them for size, without any rational reason for said comparison.

Africa is big.

Water is *wet*.

Whoop

Ti

Doo.

"Hey !! Look! These *Oranges* are BIGGER than Apples!! WoooooooWWWWW!"
"Uh, yeah?? *BFD*."

Northern Africa has less to do with Southern Africa than China does with the USA. Different peoples, different languages, different climates, different resources, different religions, different customs.

Hell, the USA and China are closer economically than Nv-s-S Africa.

Lumping N & S Africa in some ridiculous handbasket together just because you can walk there without swimming anything bigger than a river is idiotic.

You can just as well lump Norway with Vietnam by that criteria. Yeah, those're similar...

Next Up:
Elephants.
Mice.
Is there REALLY a difference?
Film at 11!
