Chart of the Day: Al Gore Uses 20X Electricity Avg.

Read the report here: "Al Gore’s Personal Energy Use Is His Own 'Inconvenient Truth': Gore’s home uses more than 20 times the national average" (see chart above).

But he's fighting the good fight for the good of all of us, so it's forgivable. Now, if he was the CEO of a company employing thousands of workers, that'd be evil.

Oh exactly and I wondered why he was singled out for this coveted award. I read that article on how much Al gore's ranch in Texas (??) was using versus the state on a whole. Don't know the veracity of the information but I, for some reason, feel quite strange. Perhaps the folks in the Nobel Prize jury's right hand did not know what the left hand was doing !! I wonder if Gore actually did anything apart from making that documentary film (again that award to him for that movie, I just could not believe that evening that Oscar's was given to him).. He sure would have had pinched someone hard. I reckon there are more people who could have been recognized. Anyway, just another rant in your esteemed blog note. Excuse me.

A known pathological liar with a economy killing agenda and it didn't raise any red flags to those who think the SUPREME GORON is a laudable person?!?!

I'm no Al Gore fan, but it should be noted in the sake of fairness that he claims much of the added usage is due to the fact that he runs a business out of the home. While he hasn't denied the excess usage and to my knowledge hasn't presented figures on how much of this comes from his business activities, it should still be mentioned.

He also claims it's ok because he buys carbon credits from his electric company that goes to financing "green" projects, but I think it's still highly questionable whether carbon credits allow for absolute moral authority.

Being from Nashville myself, I feel compelled to note that although I dislike the man and think his winning the Nobel was entirely political and constitutes an affront to the ideals of the prize itself, he does claim to operate a business out of his home. To the best of my knowledge, he has never released any data indicating what percentage of his excessively high home usage is business related, but there you have it.

It is also surprising to note that his family trust owns hundreds of thousands of dollars in Occidental Petroleum stock and receives $20,000/yr for zinc mining rights on his Carthage, TN property from a company that TN has cited for dumping barium, iron and zinc into the Caney Fork River.

Gore's a watermelon.
