A Most Incredible End to a College Football Game

The video above shows a last-minute touchdown after 15 separate lateral passes, and the announcer hyperventilates that "it might be the most sensational, incredible ending in all of Division 3 football."

I wonder how many of those were forward laterals.

called forward lateral is not the same as forward lateral.

that would be like saying doing 100mph on the highway wasn't speeding because you didn't get a ticket.

I didn't know that a successful pass could involve the ball touching the ground in between.

I thought that would be a fumble.

At 1:07, it sounds like the person saying 'It's a Touchdown!!!' was the Macho Man Randy Savage.

So not only is he alive and well, but he is giving color commentary for college football now too?

Kmg, it WAS a fumble, technically -- laterals remain live on the ground and can be recovered by the defense. But since it was recovered by the offense, no turnover.

A "forward lateral" cannot exist; it's called a "pass". A lateral is a live ball. Seems some here don't know basics of American football....
