Extinction Timeline

Timeline to 2050 of what will disappear from our lives, including video rental stores, fax machines, letter writing, physical newspapers, coins, keys, trade unions, ties, telephone directories, national currencies, desktop computers, and blogging (but not until 2025).

Gag. I usually both enjoy and benefit from links provided on Carpe Diem. In this case: neither.

Amusing And Silly. CBI, you take this thing much too seriously.

1) DVDs are dead in 2018, but CDs are never mentioned? LOL

2) I think E-Mail is going to last well beyond 2012.

3) Copyright as-is is already extinct in real practice. It's got to morph into another form, as its purpose (rewarding creators) is still ultimately necessary.

4) Blackberries in 2015? What about Ipods?

5) AM Radio in 2025??? Who the hell uses AM radio ***NOW***??

Come on OBH, you need to get out more lad...:-)

AM radio has greater range than FM...

BTW now that there is HD AM radio I'm wondering if that will actually increase its usage?
