How To Have a Rational Dicussion, NOT

When people have to resort to words like "greed" or "exploitation," it is hopeless to try to have a rational discussion with them.

~Thomas Sowell from his "Random Thoughts" column today

I would add "fair trade" to the list of words/terms that preclude rational thought and discussion.

I would add "fair," "fairness," and especially "fair trade" to the list of words/terms that preclude rational thought and discussion.

Or so you say.

You see Dr. Mark, the world is made up of a wide variety of people that can be extremely different from each other.

Humans are unpredictably irrational and emotional beings.

Any attempts to change or challenge millions of years of evolution will have no effect.

Professor Perry,

Why do you keep changing or deleting your posts?

The original text of your post read I would add "fair," "fairness," and especially "fair trade" to the list of words/terms that preclude rational thought and discussion.
